Camera Here, Mind Isn't
I just can’t concentrate today. My mind is bouncing around and wants to concentrate on anything but work. My new camera was just delivered and I want to go play with it. I need to buckle down.
Work :(
Twice this morning I’ve had problems with employees not being forthright with one another. I want to work somewhere where people can be honest instead of protecting people from feeling bad, thus bringing down the rest of the group.

Quick Weekend Recap
Gone Baby Gone was good.
Shooting engagement pictures was successful… hopefully. I got googilyeyed seeing her sweet studio. We didn’t shoot outside due to the recent rain, but she offered an little outdoor shoot in the future that we may take her up on.
21 was good, but not as good as I wanted it to be. Don’t rush to see it but it isn’t that bad.

Beth ordered local chocolate yum yums from someone at work selling them for a school fundraiser. They came in today. I’ll have to be a big boy and leave them at home, otherwise I’ll be nom nom nom all the way home this evening.

I often get ridiculed for my acute sense of smell. Usually I pick up cookies or Chinese food but I just smelled something even better.
SIUC started mowing today and I smelled the fresh grass before I heard the mower. I promptly walked outside and sucked in a lung full of the smell I’ve longed for since last Fall.

If I didn’t have an upcoming wedding, honeymoon, and other fun, I don’t know how I would be able to wade through recent crap at work and the irregular weather. The thought of sipping margaritas on a Mexican beach helps me through it all.
