I occasionally write a note on the last working day of the week and title it “MONDAY.” I did this last week and thought, as always, it is a little silly. Then I come in after four days off and can’t remember anything about what I was doing. Then I see my note from Past Tyler and it all comes back.

Very nice! This may be a contender to replace my two weather apps, Weather.com & the native Weather app, at least the native app. I really like to have radar access, but I suppose there is always the web for that.
Mail Fail
My earbuds were delivered on Friday so I offered to retrieve the mail when I arrived this morning. This was my first trip to the Palmer Plaza mail room. There isn’t much to report besides the passive aggressive note scribbled on the UPS dropbox about lodging boxes in it.

I thought I would hit my boredom threshold over the four days at home but I still haven’t hit it. I’ve completed a few tasks, played a lot of Super Mario Bros. Wii, and a few movies. I wish I would have read more. I’m looking forward to a week at work.

Today we got up early and took money to the bank. We bought Tyler an array of work shirts. We are almost done Christmas shopping and it’s not even December. I don’t think I’ve ever been almost done this early. We came home and tackled the laundry closet. [..] We watched the Ugly Truth and for a chick flick it was really good. Beth & I have brought our Christmas tree down Thanksgiving weekend since we bought it 2-3 years ago. This year we decided to not mess with it. I love having a tree lit up but Beth is in indifferent and we don’t have an obvious place to display it. Maybe we’ll bring some lights back next weekend and decorate our wooden support pole.
Our neighbors upstairs are dropping large items on the floor. There is a wobble sound after impact which makes me think the items are similar to a cube. Luggage? Coolers? These are common sounds that are loud but don’t last long.

Beth and I just watched our building on HGTV’s House Hunters. We looked at renting a similar unit.
