For lunch I brought super chunky peanut butter with grandma’s peach jelly. :-)

But I'm not choosing
Me: I would like to cancel my service.
Lady: Blah Blah Blah
Me: Thank you.
Lady: Thank you for choosing Comcast.
Billy Mays is dead? WTF?
Edit: Service is spotty.
The free internet in the building is great but I don’t get good reception from the bathroom. That will change when I find our Airport Express. Our SSID has always been what we were living in. First it was “Trailer” then “Apartment” and now “Loft”.
Can you have too many shelves?

We have made it through night one in the loft. We’re going to meet up with the others for breakfast at the hotel and them the flea market for a wee wittle bit. That will give Beth and I loads of time to bring over odds and ends and to unpack
I saw a cowboy wearing a kilt.
I just heard a Michael Jackaon playing at Legends Corner.

You know the look on people’s faces in movies when they open up a locked briefcase with a ton of money inside? That’s how I looked when I opened my first Papa John’s pizza in 7 years and saw the garlic sauce.
I didn’t anticipate how much I would enjoy browsing the Internet while on the toilet.
Julie & Peanut Dream
I had a dream last night of buying from the bulk nut & candy bins at a store. In my dream I had filled up a tub with peanuts but then I decided that I needed peanut butter cups for the cookies I was making. So I went back and attempted to pour the peanuts out but my cousin Julie stopped me and said that I couldn’t. Then I woke up.
Some people have said that they will always remember musical versions of Michael Jackson but I only know of the videos of him dangling a baby over a balcony or dancing outside of a courthouse.
Controlling iTunes on the iMac from my iPhone with Apple’s Remote application is slick. You get album art and access to all of your music. And the ability to vote & add songs for iTunes DJ is beyond slick. My hope is to something that can plug into my Airport Express and play music. The iPod/iPhone dock/speaker combos are the size I want but I’m not sure if they have any jacks on...
Eastern Time
I looked at my computer today and it said it was nearly 6pm. I was working hard & people were leaving so I didn’t question what I saw. Eventually on my way home I read that it was actually 5pm. I had sat my laptop to Eastern Time while at YAPC had never changed it back.
This Saturday is going to be hottest day of the year so far in Nashville. We’re moving on Saturday. FAIL!
Tuesday was my 1 year anniversary at ICA.
It feels good to be back at my desk. I missed it.
Yeehaw! I’m home!
Southwest started the cattle call before the plane was at the gate. Lame.
The trek home has begun. The bus ride took a little longer than scheduled but we left on the 4:30 bus to avoid problems with traffic. I wanted to eat before leaving but options were very limited. Nashville’s local restaurants in the airport really is something special.
I’m very excited to be home, follow my normal routine, and see Beth.
I want to stop at IKEA. It’s so close! I’ll have to hold my excitement for an inevitable trip to Atlanta.
I am on the bus to the airport.
Heinz Field
The YAPC|10 dinner & action was at Heinz Field last night. The space was beautiful. The food was delicious. And the tour of the field was very interesting. My photos and a video are on Flickr.
I’m listening to a man in a kilt with red & white striped socks.
