“Dropbox is software that syncs your files online and across your computers.” I downloaded it today after learning their iPhone application was released. Now I have a folder on my iMac & MacBook Pro that stays synced. In that folder I have a “Public” folder that allows me to share content publicly through a web interface. Lastly, my iPhone also can access my dropbox....

Today I got GrowlMail & megazoomer working with Snow Leopard after both apps were updated. I’m happy to have these tools back.

Holiday World
I wanted to test Tumblr’s photo upload in text posts so I’m sharing photos.
I went with the turkey leg for lunch. The green beans were the best I have ever had.
I rode Pilgrims Plunge 8 times I think. Afterwards there wasn’t any part of me that was dry.

There are a handful of coaster enthusiasts who were at Holiday World last weekend describing what they looked like by recounting the roller coaster or amusement park t-shirt he or she wore. I giggled because I lumped everyone wearing a related t-shirt together.

I don’t like watching news stories about natural disasters because they’re boring. I would be interested in a unique event but fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis, floods, & snow make me yawn.

Weekend Photos & Podcast
I shared photos from last weekend on Facebook instead of Flickr since they actually had people in them to tag. You can see them here.
Saturday night I hung out at the camper Jeff, Diana, Mike, & Artemisa were staying in to participate in the CoasterBuzz Podcast that Jeff has been recording for four years. Listen to it to hear about the crazy ERT, my wet crotch, and the cutest opening to the...

I feel asleep on the couch at 9:15 last night listing to The Lost Symbol. Don’t assume the book is boring because I am enjoying it. I suppose I’m lacking sleep from the weekend.

I’m going to vegas for my birthday! I’ve been itching to go back and why not for my birthday? Super pumped!
I guess that makes it official. ;-)

Yes or No Smiles
I can be too critical which makes simple evaluations difficult. For example, I can discuss a restaurants service, food, & atmosphere but there is only one question that matters. Will I come back?
I have begun to simplify my internal evaluations by asking one yes or no question. When Beth is my food guinea pig I ask her if she would eat my concoction again. This weekend I asked myself if I...

I just remembered that Beth & I have a visit to the Station Inn on our short list of evening entertainment. This Friday Bobby Osborne & The Rocky Top X-Press will be there and The Steeldrivers on the following Friday. I’ve seen Bobby at the Opry once or twice but definitely want to see them again. I’ve blogged about The Steeldrivers so it should not be surprising I want to see...

Dear Chicago people,
jimmytony:
Champaign is not southern Illinois. You all think this and you are all wrong. Half way down the state is called central Illinois. Please learn this.

I’m back in Nashville and the weather is beautiful. Beth should be in town after 1 o’clock. After two weeks of rain I feel as if I need to do something outside but my body is sore from sleeping on the ground.
Question: Where do you pitch your tent?
Answer: Pitch it close enough to the electrical outlet to plug in your laptop.
Seeing Holiday World’s bright, yellow water tower on the horizon as I came out of the woods on Route 162 made me smile. Now I am waiting in a huge campground check-in line. Lake Rudolph does a great job though.

Weird Dreams With Friends
I had a crazy dream set at Valleyfair! without roller coasters but it also was connected to a campground & our loft.
There were two scenes in the first act. I am inside a large building with an old wooden floor like the one in our loft. There are pathways that are placed between train tracks made up of different colored wood & patterns. I start walking on a pathway as a train begins to...
I don’t have an electrical cord for this weekend. I know I don’t need one but I tell myself I need to charge my phone and laptop if it comes along. I also don’t have Sassafras trees to create hot dog sticks from. What will I do?

We ate at Copper Kettle again tonight and I had the Tuscan Eggplant Sandwich… again. It is so good! Beth had pot roast and it was really yummy too. I need to get some brunch action there.
Extract or The Informant! tonight?

Biking to work was a success.
I have wanted to bike to work all week but we have had rain pop up continually. I’m going to do it today. What are the chances I’ll get wet? I figure that I just have to get to work dry. If it raining too hard this evening then Beth may have to pick me up.

My coworkers were very surprised I hadn’t heard of this term. We also learned that there is a similar term, “jumping the couch”, that refers to “someone ‘going off the deep end’ in public in a manner extreme enough to tarnish his or...
I downloaded three albums this morning from Jay-Z, Brand New, & Neko Case but haven’t finished one track.
Arrested Development
I finished watching Arrested Development tonight with season 3 DVDs loaned by a coworker. I’m sad that a show that was in a comedic league so high was cancelled after three seasons. I enjoyed the snappy lines, guest stars, and constant plot changes but I’m not certain it would be revered if it had died naturally. Now I can more on to catching up on Heroes.

Today my coworkers & I determined that the Swedish Chef is at least one year older than when Gallagher started comedy. We could not function without Wikipedia.

$original_text_content++;
I have written less since I moved my blog to the Tumblr platform because it is much easier for me to reblog other people’s content than write my own. I want to change this by sharing more of what I’m thinking with big-boy sentences and multiple paragraphs. Gasp!

Shae Shae Shae
Mom & Dad watched Shae Friday & Saturday while Hilary & Justin were in Saint Louis for a concert and at a back home wedding. I played with her Saturday morning while I had a chance.
She is still having trouble saying, “Uncle Tyler! You’re my favorite!”
