New House
We got the keys to our new place tonight and spent an hour there poking around. We found the following items in the basement.
- pet carrier
- toilet
- decorative garden fencing
- bicycle
- bed frame
- shingles
The house is in rougher shape then we remembered it but it may not be fair to compare our trendy loft and previous brand new apartment against a 1920’s rental home. Even though there are cracked windows, layers or paint, and four different cabinet knobs in the kitchen, we have a lot of great features to be excited about. The main rooms are large. The hardwood floor is in good shape. And we have a huge patio. It will take us time to accept the faults we can’t change but I think we’ll end up enjoying the place.
