Without the peep density, it is worth going. There are great food vendors (My wife still dreams about the potato soup she had 2 years ago from Mad Platter.) and beer (of course!). The live music isn’t bad either.
Many people park south of Jefferson around Bicentennial, which is the safe answer. If you want to park closer then you might snag a spot on Hume early in the day.
