Nashville Skyline Script

Queueing photos for my Nashville Skyline blog is repetitive work. The slow Tumblr bookmarklet hangs for 30 seconds each time on Flickr so I have been dragging the favicon to a folder to save the url. (I save urls by dragging the favicon to my desktop rather than adding a bookmark because I will see the files soon due to my never ending battle of an empty desktop.

I wrote a script to take these .webloc files from Flickr and queue a post on Tumblr. I utilized three Perl modules, Flickr::API::Photos, Flickr::API::People & WWW::Tumblr in my quest. The .webloc file is deleted one the file is created.

Those 60ish lines of code are going to make maintaining the blog even more enjoyable than it is now.
