Poor Loser == Me
With the upcoming cable internet installation I started looking for Aperture backup solutions since I hadn’t looked around for months. I found an article that didn’t share anything new but did mention successfully backing up a 35 GB vault to S3.
I had about 35GB library of photos when I created the vault. Since this is all going over the internet it is going to take a while for all the files to copy over, which is to be expected. I was luckly on a university connection so the wait wasn’t as long as it was for some.
I saw the link and thought, “I wonder how long that loser waited.” That is link back to a post I made on 4/7/08 when I said “I’m stilling backing up my Aperture Vault to S3. Running Time: 5ish days.” In my defense I must say that I think the back up was restarted over and over. It was also being done from a laptop at home and work. This time I will be doing it from a desktop machine that will have nothing to do during the day but send photos to my cloud.
I love finding myself on the Internet even if I am the loser.
