Beth & I knocked out a few projects around the house yesterday. The biggest was our new headboard. We moved the bedroom around to give us room to sand, paint, and install.
We also moved Beth’s necklace hooks around the corner to be closer to her getting ready for the day. The move also means the photo wire can be moved down to a proper viewing height.
Installation wasn’t as bad as I thought. The cable & ferrules were very cheap. I didn’t invent in a proper clamping too and used a screwdriver and hammer instead, just like the package says not to do. The door is still hanging so I’m chalking it up as a success.
The door is wide enough for a queen bed if we would upgrade.
The < $50 investment changes expectations of the project. I wouldn’t have paid twice as much for. It warms up the room which was the main goal. And how cool is to hang shit from the ceiling even if it is a little weird?
