Productive
Today we got up early and took money to the bank. We bought Tyler an array of work shirts. We are almost done Christmas shopping and it’s not even December. I don’t think I’ve ever been almost done this early. We came home and tackled the laundry closet. [..] We watched the Ugly Truth and for a chick flick it was really good. […] Oh and I almost forgot, my Christmas paper color coordinates with the ribbon and gift tags. […]

It feels great to have a productive day that was stress free. Our shopping list was puny but we kept agreeing that we should get X while we were out. The light crowds made the day pleasant, even in Cool Springs where traffic is usually a nightmare.
To elaborate on our closet work, we installed shelves in the closet and moved the washer/dryer over to access that area more easily. We also taped the shit out of the dryer duct so it won’t pop off again. I hesitated to buy the $10 roll of tape but we had the same problem at the previous apartment and I suspect I’ll tape another dryer in the future. I was pleased our closet project took a couple hours from initial cleaning, to a Lowe’s trip, and installation. I bought a 12” shelf and 16” braces but Mr. Pliers and I showed the braces they would be a little flexible.
Tomorrow I will spend time with my camera.
