Quick Weekend Recap
Gone Baby Gone was good.
Shooting engagement pictures was successful… hopefully. I got googilyeyed seeing her sweet studio. We didn’t shoot outside due to the recent rain, but she offered an little outdoor shoot in the future that we may take her up on.
21 was good, but not as good as I wanted it to be. Don’t rush to see it but it isn’t that bad.
The bridal shower was on Sunday and I will be the first to admit that I was nervous to be surrounded by so many women. Luckily it turned out better than I had imagined. The images of loud, cackling hens was certainly not the scene. Everyone was very laid back. I was also worried about enduring many gag/sex/women gifts as I flanked Beth during the gift opening. There was only one such gift and I liked it very much. As weird as it sounds, many of the gifts will be used more by me as I am the head chef of the house. I’ll go into the goodies some other time as I review them.
Even though we were both tired by the time we got home, I cleaned the floor with our new Floor Mate. One Word: Awesome! Beth said she almost cried when she opened it. ;)
This week I’m going to end the mourning process and clean out the fish tank. Second on the agenda is to take advantage of warmer temps and increase my running. We’ll be taking a break from Effingham County for a few weeks. But I think we’re going to still head North to buy some clothes for Mexico. If we wait too long then we won’t get a chance to buy what we need. I need to replace all of my shorts or risk showing my ass during the whole trip as they fall down.
