Final Winter Thoughts
I hate to harp on Nashville over and over but I have a few final thoughts.
- The term “black ice” is used too often here. I don’t have a good definition, yet, but I do know I hear it too much.
- The main roads have been awesome all week.
- The town is dead which makes for a great commute and an empty workplace. People have stayed home because they “can’t make it out of their subdivision or neighborhood”. It’s just ice! Unless you live in a valley and can’t make it up either side of the hill then you’re lame and should make up a proper excuse to burn PTO.
- The local news reported police officers being called out to ponds to kick kids off. They interviewed one stupid kid than claimed he tested the ice by hitting it with a hammer. He also said he had been on it all week and that it was acting the same as ice in Canada where he visited.
