Where are the snow plows?
Beth & I ventured out yesterday for lunch and grocery shopping. The side roads, espcially ours, were still covered in ice/snow. The main roads in town were passable but not as clear as I expected. The biggest surprise while driving was seeing the interstates with stacks of snow and slush on them. I would have thought that they would have been a high priority. It’s possible they were attended afterwards but I’m doubting it after hearing the traffic report this morning.
Davidson and Williamson county schools are closed. Beth’s school opened 2 hours hate which I thought was a good move. But they are also closing early which boggles my mind.
I need to buy a shovel and make a shit load of money when the next big snow falls in 7 years. I saw a handful of people trying to shovel ice away this morning. If they had moved the slush before it refreezed then they wouldn’t look like a fool on the sidewalks. Don’t get me started on the dumbasses spreading salt on top of inches of ice under the Renaissance.
