The morning traffic report noted that James Robertson was going to be closed near the Capitol for the The National Folk Festival this weekend. This piqued my interest so I took a gander driving to work.
There is a stage at the end of Bicentennial Mall right along the road alluding to guests hanging out on the Capitol’s hill. I think it’s brilliant and hope more concerts are performed there. I also wish the amphitheater in the park was used more than once a year but that is long-standing complaint of mine.
