Zero KB
JungleDisk has released a new version of their app so I decided to download it and get my iMac connected to it. I got my bucket configured and noticed the Aperture backup I had done for five days was there but its size was Zero KB. I verified also this in Cyberduck. I’m pissed that time was wasted but curious what happened. I think I am going to let this iMac do its thing and hope the latest version of JungleDisk works better.
Damn! I suspect it finished but I haven’t checked yet.
Finish strong!
Upload Day 5
I think Cyberduck was up to 70% when I left last night. This morning it climbed 17 percentage points and appears to finish up in 8-10 hours.
Aperture Vault Upload Update
I left the 154.8GB upload on Friday at 1% uploaded. This morning at 8:30am Cyberduck had completed 67% (104GB). That is an average of 395.43kb/s over the weekend. I thought I would have been closer to 100% but I’m happy with the average rate. If I can keep up with that rate the upload will be done Tuesday evening.
I am attempting to upload my 160GB Aperture vault to Amazon S3 again. For this initial upload I am using Cyberduck to connect directly to my bucket. It took a couple hours to crawl through the directory structure and now I’m seeing upload time estimates of 80-200+ hours.
